Very helpful and friendly staff, the patrons too. Not to mention this is an excellent, and clean facility. Definitely feel a strong sense of community at this location. Does not get better than this! Best Y I’ve been to so far.

I have been an employee of the Y for many years. I was in a head-on collision that took me 9 years to recover from. I was a certified fitness instructor, rockwall instructor, and swim instructor. I've worked for many organizations through the Y. Kids With Cancer, Montauk Youth, fire departments, police department, ELEM Youth in Distress. As well as private functions for Christy Brinkley and Alec Baldwins family. Since the accident, I have become an excellent swimmer and wanted to share my experiences with others so that they might find the strength to fight. But I am no longer welcome here as an employee because I require medication to cope with chronic pain. I may never be without physical pain for the rest of my life despite how hard I fight for my health. The accident cost me 9 years with 2 spinal surgeries and 2 years PT, not to mention a few hundred thousand dollars. Drug free workplace? Does that include insulin, advil, and tylenol is a killer, What about sugar or caffeine. Items you buy and use from a pharmacy, whether its prescribed or its OTC they are all still drugs. Your splitting hairs here in Florida. I'm not a drug addict or dealer. I was in a head-on collision by someone else driving on the wrong side of the road. Now, I'm having a hard time understanding why you're making me pay for someone else's mistake. This is not an issue of safety or experience. This is a political issue. Descrimation is not only wrong, it's illegal. I hope you will update your unfair policies to include people who are hurt and require medication. We are not bad people.

Great to relax, exercise and unwind. Take a kick boxing class, dance class and have a swim if you want. Even take a nice hot shower.

How much time should I spend in the gym or exercising on each exercise machine? For me, it should be about five to 10 or 15 minutes. I think that everyone who comes to use the gym here and pays a membership fee, of course, when living with other people, you must have manners. I am one of them. Today, there was an old woman waiting for the ride I was playing. She didn't come to tell me directly that she was waiting. She went to tell the staff and then told me that she had been waiting to play the next ride after me for about 10 minutes. For me, it was like kicking me out of the ride I was playing, which was really disgusting because there are 10 rides in this place. I think there are more than 50 to 60 rides. You can play other rides, but you let the staff call me and talk to me and the staff in front of me that I had been playing this ride for a long time and had been waiting for me for 10 minutes, which was really disgusting. Why did it have to be the ride I was playing? Why didn't you choose to play something else?Since I paid the correct membership fee, why should I have to please others at this gym?

Fantastic all around. I just started personal training with Dakota who is a GEM! Knowledgeable, kind, tough when needed :) and so experienced! If you are even remotely thinking of joining, do the tour with Mia, another GEM, and sign up for the assessment with Dakota. This has been a game changer for me. Shout out to Donna - holding it down in the mornings! :) She is another GEM! :) Also, shout out to the Y leadership for not hiring Harold, who is open about his use of marijuana while on the clock. Kind of a public safety issue especially with all the kiddos that go to the Y. Blessings to all
