Stopped in on a business lunch while in St Pete. I wanted a burger but then, switched to a basic breakfast. It sounded good and it was even better than i imagined. Scrambled eggs were perfect, the fruit was super greasy and oh, that toast! I paired it with a fresh brewed iced tea. Server was excellent, friendly and very attentive. Parking was free in a dedicated lot behind the restaurant. Definitely coming back soon!
Everything was amazing. From the start, walking into their brunch, the mood was set. I was ready to have a good time with good people. The DJ was a great selection of music to get the crowd moving in their seats.. It was packed with so many people, and we did not have a reservation, but our server managed to get us a table outside under an umbrella with fans, so it felt great. Then our mimosas and drinks came out, they were great. However, the food was on a whole other level. The French toast stole the show. Our server was so sweet, polite, and professional. We had such a great time with lots of laughter. I recommend everyone try out this restaurant at least one time. You can thank me later. I'll be back with my family.
Top notch atmosphere. The bread and presentation of the bread accessories were the best thing we ordered. The truffle fries were exactly like every other truffle fries I've ever had. The prime burger was oddly charred and burned for "medium-rare". The meat was tougher than expected. I didn't enjoy the bacon lazily billowing out of the burger. The wait staff was fine. Drinks were refilled promptly. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about. The receipt came in a cute little book. It fits the theme. I like that. For the price I expected a little bit better quality food. But, I guess that's the economy nowadays?
This restaurant is a unique blend of a cozy library and modern dining. Some areas showed signs of wear and tear but it added to the character. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The food came out quickly and everything we ate was delicious and prepared as ordered. The libations were good too. Great spot for a date or work dinner
What a fun restaurant! From the moment you enter this establishment, you are transported to a very civilized yet completely cozy, rustic and warm environment. A book lover’s dream is to be surrounded by all sorts of books and the rooms have floor to ceiling shelving of books. The atmosphere is light and airy with equal parts castle-library vibe. And that’s just the atmosphere. The food was amazing. Honestly, this might have been one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. The bread board was beyond perfection on a platter, the hamburger was cooked to perfection, the salad was flavorful and the roasted chicken was bursting with flavor. And I haven’t even explained the potatoes with the most perfect balance of seasoning and salt. I honestly cannot think of a meal better than what I just ate. Whoever the head chef is deserves an award. We cannot wait to return!
