This is a small, charming, and quaint authentic Mediterranean Greek and Turkish cuisine, a hidden gem in Downtown, just a short walk from our hotel. For appetizers my husband had the Red Lentil Soup, and I had the Homemade Spinach-Feta Borek. Our main entrees consisted of the Beef Gyro Salad for my husband, and the Beef Gyro Platter for me. Prices were reasonable for the food quality and fresh ingredients. One of the best Mediterranean restaurants we have ever dined in, hands down! First time trying this little "hole-in-the-wall" mediterranean food spot. Lots of great Greek- and Turkish-inspired dishes. Everything was very tasty. Staff was attentive and friendly. Will be back to try other things as well! Can recommend if this type of food is your 'thing'.
How am I just discovering this place now? The food was authentic and wonderful. The owner and chef was a friendly presence in the restaurant. He and the staff seem to truly care if you are happy when they stop by to check on you. Nothing feels rushed or forced. My favorite item was the meatballs. This humbly named dish is packed with fresh flavor and perfectly cooked. My wife’s chicken sauté’ was very good but the meatballs kept causing her fork to wander on to my plate. Other highlights included a strong Turkish coffee in a beautiful cup and a honey infused backache.

We had a nice lunch here. The food was good. The place is very small, but it has a nice cozy feel to it. The spinach and feta rolls ( I don't remember the exact name) were very tasty. Pair it with the bowl of lentil soup, and you have yourself a winner. Just an FYI, it is expensive.
