I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for quite a while, and up until now, I’ve always had excellent experiences with both the food and service. It’s been one of my favorite go-to spots, so I was looking forward to another great meal. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of the high standards I’ve come to expect. My wife ordered an omelette, and as usual, it was fantastic — cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and generously filled. She was very happy with her meal. I, however, had a very different experience. I ordered the burnt ends, something I hadn’t tried here before but was excited about. When the dish arrived, it was served in a small white bowl, and immediately I noticed that the burnt ends were completely smothered in an excessive amount of BBQ sauce. It was almost as if the sauce was trying to cover up the poor quality of the meat. As I started to dig in, it only got worse. The meat was severely overcooked; several pieces were dry, tough, and some were so hard they were actually crunchy. It was a far cry from the tender, smoky, flavorful burnt ends I was expecting. I genuinely try to avoid sending food back whenever possible, but in this case, it was simply inedible. There was just no way I could finish it. This was a really disappointing experience, especially considering how much I’ve enjoyed all my past visits. I hope this was just an off night in the kitchen, because I’d love to continue recommending this restaurant — but based on this last visit, there’s definitely room for improvement.
A lot of bugs… like too many for comfort. I had to kill a beetle of sorts, not to mention all of the gnats… Servers were nice though, but not incredibly attentive. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food and, when we got our food, the Jacked Up Steak and Egg meal was entirely bland— I cannot express this enough, it was like they didn’t use a single pinch of seasoning for the whole meal. The Cuban from the lunch menu was delicious though, would recommend that one, if ordered to-go. Overall, given the experience we had and despite the decent portions, I would not recommend this location. Substantially overpriced given the experience we had.
Honestly, slapped pretty hard. They have Pepsi products- my mans got a Mountain Dew & I got a Pepsi. Can’t say I was mad about it. Pepsi is the best. Also tried the fried buffalo cauliflower per our servers recc- it was sooo good! Could have went for more. Restaurant was ded but food & service was p.good! I tried the KFC bowl & it was delicious- also enough food for like 2-3 meals. Definitely needed a box. My boo got Southern chicken Salad- it was pretty decent! Could have used more dressing. Also super large portion. Checkout was easy & server chatted with us a bit- she was cool! Sever Jen- super hip from Miami. Thanks Datz, we’ll be back 🫡
Beautiful establishment with great seating and indoor/outdoor bar and lounge stay waiting space. The food was ok but the service was fantastic. I’ll have to try one of their fancy cocktails next time.
Food was absolutely great!! Server had an awesome attitude and was great with our 2 little ones...but the service was really slow though...overall for lunch we were there about 2 hrs waited about 45 min for food to come to table once ordered Pics are for the Cluck Yeah and the Famous Stuffed Meatloaf. Would definitely come back hoping for a little bit faster service especially since it was fairly slow at the time...
