Sea Salt is big and pretty- certainly has an upscale feel to it with the display of wine and the location. The oysters were wonderful and the cocktails were delicious. The staff is very young for a place that charges so much for their food. I would deem the Sea Salt restaurant more for tourists and younger adults than a good quality that backs up the prices they are charging. Overall we had a good experience.
Forgive the commercial construction out front. Hit the stairs to level two and enter a lux world with a sprawling bar complete with fresh seafood display, comfortable contemporary dining room, outdoor space and an impressive two story high glass enclosed wine cellar. Pro Tip: HH 7 days (3-6pm) during construction featuring $1 gulf oysters, $8 cocktails. Also get the Grouper Cheeks!
We came on Monday for happy hour. Best food we’ve had in St. Petersburg so far!! Amazing service too. Stephen was knowledgeable about the oyster choices, and Blayne took great care of us, and mixed delicious drinks. We will be back
It’s a little hard to find the entrance (walked fully around the exterior of the building before finding it), but the restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. The wine elevator room looks really cool. The oysters were so fresh and perfect, and the seafood cavatelli was fantastic - I could eat it everyday.
My wife and I have eaten at this location several times and each time it reminds us just how amazing the food is! We have tried half the menu so far and everything we've ordered has been outstanding! The smoked fish dip and tune tartare appetizers are INSANE! Also, our waiter last night (Edwin) was awesome! Can't wait to come back. Thank you!
