We recently celebrated the baptism of my granddaughter at Cassis in downtown St. Pete, and everything was absolutely wonderful. Ann a Coffman who took care of all the details, did an amazing job. She made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were a party of almost 30 people, and Ann and the team truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It’s a beautiful spot on a charming corner — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
We moved to the Tampa area about a year ago and finding a good pizza has been an adventure! But Cassis did it!! We had such a good time atmosphere was amazing and most of all the FOOD was incredible. Our pizza was exactly what we wanted for our Mother's Day brunch. I can't wait to try it out for dinner sometime soon. Special shot out to our sweet patient waiter Jovica, he answered our questions and made us feel super welcome!
We were a little disappointed. While the food was very good, it was a little overpriced. The pizza was also burned and we were told that was normal. The service was very slow, and we sat outside for happy hour but we were charged full price. It is a great vibe inside. If we return it would be to get happy hour at the bar.
Dining at Cassis is always a remarkable experience. The space is immaculately clean, the linens are pristine, and the waitstaff is consistently polished and professional. On this visit, we had the pleasure of being served by Mauricio, a long-time family favorite. His deep knowledge of the menu and impeccable attention to detail truly enhance the dining experience. We began with the brussels sprouts appetizer, and our table enjoyed a range of dishes—from fresh salads to perfectly prepared steak. Before our entrées arrived, Phillipe, the gracious owner, stopped by to greet us, adding a personal touch that never goes unnoticed. We ended the meal with their decadent salted caramel cheesecake, the perfect finish to a flawless evening. Each visit to Cassis reaffirms why it remains one of our favorite restaurants. Their unwavering consistency in every aspect—from service to cuisine—continues to set them apart.
The brunch and dinner menus are the best for food. Drink wise all day is amazing. They have 3 options for Rose that are each great in their own way. One is dry. One is sweeter. And one is a balance. The best waiter BY FAR is named Alex. I highly recommend. I will come back as long as he is always my waiter.
