This is one of the BEST happy hour spots around! The servers are super fun, the wine is delicious, and the food is beautiful and flavorful. You will be pleasantly surprised how low the bill is too! 3-6pm every day! This is where it’s at!
We finally went to Bacchus during happy hour and we were pleasantly happy. Great wine and food happy hour. Waitress was so pleasant and truly happy. Wonderful service. Hostess not as much but that’s ok. Great cozy atmosphere. Not sure about meals but happy hour is a definite value.
Loved our server Taylor! Wine was good and there were plenty of reasonably priced options. We also picked out 3 cheeses and 1 meat to share - the board they brought us is in the pic.
Todd Goldsberry and I do a lot of restaurant reviewing, some paid for/some not. I can’t remember the last time I can say 5 1/2 stars. That’s when service, ambiance, and food is above 5 star. Not a single flaw and things that were above and beyond expectations. We started with the happy hour cheese and meat board, $6.50?!😳 me thinking is the decimal point in wrong place? Rose wine and sparkling French wine $4.50 a glass. The flat bread special was seriously one of the best I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere in the world. The food was that good, but the stand out was the foie gras with cherries. Or maybe the roast beet trifle with goat cheese foam…hmmm..maybe a tie. Shout out to our server Taylor who was gorgeous, funny, knew the food well as one should, on top of everything and a pleasure to chat with. Happy Holidays Bacchus thanks for a great night!
Discovered this local gem while looking for a lunch place in downtown St. Pete near the Dalà museum. Ambience and service are both excellent. Even got complimentary blanc de blanc champagne for birthday celebration. We picked 3 cheeses (Comte, Roquefort black label and thrive cream Brie) and 3 cold cut (mortadella, duck prosciutto and salami) and the charcuterie board was beautiful presented. Also ordered tuna carpaccio, potatoes baked with duck fat, and steak tartare. All delicious and exceeded my expectation. Ordered a white from Marlborough, New Zealand (always a save bet) to go with the meal.
