For Italian the food was underwhelming. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar. My pasta, which I feel I should have been warned about, was encrusted in bread. The server even said when he dropped it off that no one expects it. My daughter got the lasagna, which had little sauce and no flavor. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan which was just okay, pasta sauce again not great. The best thing we had were the salads, but the croutons in the Caesar could have been full size, not crumbs.
This an American Italian restaurant. Beautiful outside when weather allows. In particular my pomodoro pasta was a putanesca. Still burning 🔥 my mouth. Everything else was good. We paid 160.00 for 2 people with 2 glasses of wine and 2 beers, no deserts. A bit high.
Did a Valentines dinner here with my wife. We chose this restaurant based on positive reviews. The food was very good and so was the service. We asked for outside seating and enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely go back to try other dishes and would recommend this restaurant. While walking through St. Pete, I noticed this place was packed, and the food on the tables outside looked absolutely delicious. I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! The pasta was fresh, and everything I tried was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!
What a spot! We had the bucatini & meatballs and the short rib ragu. All the pasta is made in house and while those dishes were amazing with great sized portions, the secret is the honey basil dressing that accompanies the Misticanza salad. All of the flavors in the sauces and dressing were so rich and fresh tasting. The staff were inviting and personable and the drinks were a creative mix. Combine all of that with the warm ambience and the view looking down to the pier and you’ll have a memorable experience. A definite stop if you’re in St. Pete!
