Whenever I travel, I try to find the nearest local community center when staying in Airbnb or with relatives because the prices are very reasonable to use fitness center. At this faculty it is free to public!!! How wonderful this is for local citizens and visitors. Mr. Morrison (I hope I have his name correct) only needed a valid ID to enter me into system and I was able to use the faculty while in town. The staff was very friendly and the fitness center is very nice! They have a playground for kids, basketball courts, picnic tables outside, and the trail runs into the Pinellas Loop trail. I highly recommend this fitness center if in area and need a place to workout!
Beautiful scenery in and up and coming neighborhood, the trail takes you on a scenic 4+ mile walk thru clam bayou.

I don't know why people give it 5 stars like don't lie this place is pretty sad I went here for summer camp kids get bullied for not having the new stuff I did not get bullied but I had kids who had mean stuff to say about me like your ugly and other stuff boys are very touche they will cuz you out if you don't let it happen kids are rude to older people cuz them out and not care. kids meet up here not kids teens like 16 14 15 and other aged meet up here and fight, and fight over the swing I saw a girl get jumped for taking somebody's spot and where is the mom and dad of these kids somewhere being getto to they will come down and try and fight you if you try and get the kids to stop and it shooting they will be grown men pull up and shot DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE FUN OR JUST BE KIDS
I am new in this area and as well a new member of Childs Park Recreation Center (CPR). As a member of CPR, I find it sad that other members do not take care of the equipment such as wiping off a bench after stepping on it and replacing equipment after use. It is more saddening knowing the employees do not enforce the rules posted nor do they come in and spot-check, this is a community center let's do better in taking care of it. #dobetter
