Beautiful establishment with great seating and indoor/outdoor bar and lounge stay waiting space. The food was ok but the service was fantastic. I’ll have to try one of their fancy cocktails next time.

My family and I made the mistake of going to Datz last night for my sister’s birthday after finding Oak & Stone packed. Datz, in contrast, was a ghost town—an immediate red flag we foolishly ignored. From the second we stepped inside, the experience was a disaster. The hostess, if you can call her that, didn’t bother to greet us. We had to acknowledge her presence just to be seated, and her attitude made it clear that we were an inconvenience. Our server initially showed a glimmer of hope but quickly became just as unpleasant, acting irritated every time we needed basic service. With an empty restaurant, you’d think we’d get decent attention, but no. My mom and son ordered chicken and waffles, and what came out was a soggy, unrecognizable mess. Sending it back only brought more problems—like waffles without butter, and when butter did finally arrive, the waffles were cold. I asked for water after finishing my lemonade, and the server returned with a pitcher, sarcastically asking who wanted water. When I asked for a fresh cup instead of pouring it into my old lemonade, her annoyance was palpable. Another employee thought the best time to sweep was right next to us, stirring up dust and debris as we tried to eat. The sandwiches my sister and I ordered came with chips drenched in some revolting ranch sauce. We weren’t offered the option for fries, unlike at the Brandon location. Then, when my daughter accidentally spilled water, the server took an eternity to bring napkins, and when she did, she made a snide comment about whether the table was still wet. By then, a passing employee had already given us some napkins. The server finally returned with a rag, utterly useless at that point. The crowning moment of incompetence came when the server, after asking what she could clear, dismissed my son’s empty plate because she “didn’t have extra hands.” Really? We should’ve waited at Oak & Stone. Datz was a colossal waste of time with garbage service. At this rate, this location won’t last much longer, and honestly, it would be a mercy. We won’t be returning.
Food was absolutely great!! Server had an awesome attitude and was great with our 2 little ones...but the service was really slow though...overall for lunch we were there about 2 hrs waited about 45 min for food to come to table once ordered Pics are for the Cluck Yeah and the Famous Stuffed Meatloaf. Would definitely come back hoping for a little bit faster service especially since it was fairly slow at the time...
Honestly, slapped pretty hard. They have Pepsi products- my mans got a Mountain Dew & I got a Pepsi. Can’t say I was mad about it. Pepsi is the best. Also tried the fried buffalo cauliflower per our servers recc- it was sooo good! Could have went for more. Restaurant was ded but food & service was p.good! I tried the KFC bowl & it was delicious- also enough food for like 2-3 meals. Definitely needed a box. My boo got Southern chicken Salad- it was pretty decent! Could have used more dressing. Also super large portion. Checkout was easy & server chatted with us a bit- she was cool! Sever Jen- super hip from Miami. Thanks Datz, we’ll be back 🫡
