Dr Zamora and her team were very gentle and caring when our older pup hurt his back, which helped put us at ease in a stressful time. They provided follow up calls to ensure he was well (he is!) and were just generally very considerate. Prices seem very reasonable considering the service. Definitely would recommend.
Dr. Zamora and her entire team are so kind and compassionate. Candace always helps with my appointments and getting us in when needed. I have taken both of my dogs to Grand Central since they were puppies and the care that has been received is outstanding.
I have had the worst experiences at this vet. She does not listen. One appointment and 4 requests for heart worm pills and she tried to say my dog had not been on any. I just moved here already had pills from managing a vet hospital!! I had paperwork of constant care and still she wanted yet another heart worm test back to back. $400 for shots is insane and being forced to come in every 6 months for heart worm. This place is a scam. She tried to force me to put my dog on anxiety pills. He is chill and highly trained. Don’t trust these people.
Recommend! Not only did they fit me in on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend; they also followed up with a phone call to see how my girl was doing as well as a call from the veterinarian (Dr. Zamora) to explain some things. I have recommended this vet to several people and I will continue to do so. Prices are just like any other vet in St. Petersburg Florida, however not as high as most. You definitely get what you pay for. Very clean place with down to earth and caring staff.
I recently left the practice due to their repeated poor customer service and impolite staff that ultimately have led to my sog not getting timely treatment. I attemtped to schedule a follow up nutrition consult with the prescribing veterinarian Dr. Wolfe for my dog as the food was causing her extreme discomfort, which was a well documented ongoing issue for my dog. The staff said “I can’t text her on her time off” when I asked them to make notation of a request for the veterinarian to contact me during her limited office hours rather than having me wait around to call at the right time when veterinarian is scheduled on shift 1 day a week and get lucky. I also had another poor experience where I went to pick up the prescription food at the office and a younger female vet tech indignagntly stated “you shouldn’t just come in for the food, we have to plan ahead ” despite me calling ahead days in advance. Lastly, the overall atmosphere of both vet Dr. Zamora and staff lacks a sense of urgency and has poor communication along with record keeping. The facilities do not appear very cleanly as well. They are poorly experienced in larger breed dogs and seem exasperated/unfriendly/burnt out . I am disappointed and do not trust this office to care for my pets going forward.
