What a great lunch spot! We started with Thai tea which was spectacular! We tried the lunch box and it was so much food! Sushi, salad, soup, curry and rice…oh and gyoza for like $16! so much food! Everything was excellent and the staff was accommodating.
Being totally honest the food was good by anyone standard just one of the dishes (cashew beef / no mushroom) we could’ve done without really wasn’t anything special so one star ⭐️ taken away bc of that but absolutely everything else was incredible. The atmosphere is second to none we ate outside and enjoyed the heaters on a chilly 🥶 Florida evening and enjoyed the downtown st Pete scenery service was also good … would highly recommend chicken satay , steamed dumplings and garlic sauce , Drunken beef noodle and pineapple 🍍 fried rice with chicken drizzled in peanut sauce
Hamachi was really good, personally I would have likes a little more citrus/yuzu. Alternative tataki - cooked perfectly and nice and crunchy with tasty flavors. Lemongrass specialty roll - definitely recommend, it's like a party in your mouth, all sorts of different flavors and textures. Just wish it was a little warmer when served. Tom yum gai soup was on point. Quail eggs sushi was really good as well, definitely an acquired taste, not for everyone. Puff daddies dessert was a huge portion and super delicious to finish things off.
I must admit the food here was absolutely delicious. We got to the restaurant at 830 they sat us down and then rushed us and said we had to order because the kitchen was closing they should have said that before we sat down. The bathroom could use some love! Other th n that I would recommend because you will be pleased with the food!
Super cute, locally owned sushi spot in prime downtown! The sushi was delicious and they had great sale choices along with beer & wine. The service was fine - we had a big party on a slow night. But the food and company we had was immaculate. The sushi will have us returning.
