These guys were so kind and thorough in taking care of our little guy. They were professional and kind in thoroughly explaining the surgery to us and did it for a fair price. They even took the time to decorate his post surgical gauze, which I thought was really a special touch. Kitty fell in love with them, and so did we. So happy we found this veterinarian.
Wow! I am so impressed with this veterinary. Everyone here are friendly and knowledgeable! After getting an estimate from my previous vet, (for over 20years) for a dental cleaning for my pup, (2000.00 was the est) I decided to shop around. Live Oak was recommended by a neighbor, so they were my first call. They saw my pup for an evaluation and a dental cleaning estimate. Their estimate was a 1/4 of the price. My previous vet said my dog would need complex extractions, the second option, no, he doesn’t. His teeth are perfectly strong, but had a lot of tarter buildup. They are perfect now, no more stinky breath, and the actual cost was even lower than their estimate. We have found our new Vet!
First and last visit there today. Brought puppy in for an appointment. No one introduced themselves, not even the man, I suppose is the vet? The person that arranged the appointment for our puppy showed up after we had already arrived and the unprofessionalism shown to her from the vet and another staff member were completely unacceptable. If this is how you treated her, how are you treating the animals? Definitely don’t recommend this clinic.
Wish I could give this 10 stars! Wow! Just wow! Amazing veterinarian! I normally go to the SPCA for my other doggy, but recently due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up with another doggy who was in desperate need of veterinarian services. I was referred to Live Oak Vet by a family friend for having great service and reasonable prices. So, I decided to take a chance. I am SO pleasantly surprised and happy I did. So much so that, I just might have to switch my other doggy over from SPCA to here. From the front office staff to the veterinarian, they are professional, caring, kind and so personable you don’t feel like just a “number” but almost family like. They care for you doggy like their own. If you are on the fence just make the call, you’ll be so happy you did!
After being totally disappointed with my previous vet I called to get my dog in this morning at Live Oak (based on reviews) and they were able to see her same day and start getting her feeling better. The receptionist was very pleasant and kind. The vet was also very nice and listened to all of my concerns. My doggie was very comfortable with him and the techs. We will definitely be back!
