We stopped by for lunch on the Monday after Easter and tried the Chicken Gyro Platter and Beef Gyro Platter, along with the Spinach Feta Borek as an appetizer. The platters came with large side salads and pita bread on the side. The food was great overall and I’m really just nitpicking. The gyro platters were very tasty, and the portions were beyond generous. We couldn’t decide between the Feta platter and the Borek, and went with the waiter’s recommendation to try the Borek. He mentioned it’s their most popular appetizer, but it wasn’t our favorite. We’ll definitely be trying the feta platter next time! As for the pita, I was hoping for the fresh, fluffy kind you often get at Mediterranean restaurants, so I was a little disappointed there. That said, all dishes came with a very tasty side of tzatziki, which was a big plus. The Turkish coffee was also delicious! The restaurant was clean, the service was very friendly and accommodating, and while it may not have totally blown us away, it’s a great spot if you’re in the area and craving Mediterranean.
This was our first time visiting this popular St. Pete restaurant. We started with the Meza appetizer and enjoyed all four of our choices. I ordered the yogurt kebab and really enjoyed it. The meat was thinly sliced and full of flavor. Our service was very friendly. The place is small, so reservations are definitely recommended.
This place is great and Shafak was AMAZING!!!! It was our first time dining in- he had great recommendations, and answered all of our questions in detail with confidence. We were doing a project for school and he gladly was willing to help us. Thanks to him we got all the knowledge we needed and had a memorable experience in addition. Lastly, the food was so yummy. Thank you again we will see you soon!
Incredible dining experience. I tried appetizer sampler & BEZELYE PILAV for my entree. So much flavor. Rice cooked perfectly. Big portion, so took half home and enjoyed next day for lunch. The ambiance is amazing here with beautiful, detailed lamps all around. Very friendly staff and server. I will be back!
This place was amazing!! We stumbled upon it randomly and didn’t know what to expect, but it blew us away! Everything was so delicious, even my mom who says she doesn’t like Greek food loved it. We ordered the hummus, chicken gyros, and bezelye pilav, and YUMMMM!! Our waiter was so nice and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. We also got a complimentary baklava desert, and while we both thought we didn’t like baklava, we were again proved wrong. 11/10 recommend
