Great food and service! I enjoyed the smoked fish dip appetizer and a roasted beet salad with chicken for lunch. I could not resist the dessert menu when I saw butter cake. The warm Gooey Butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel was absolutely incredible! I would have to say this dessert is one of the best I have had!
Pretty good menu it like American style. It Seems to be same owners as Bella brava. They have bottomless mimosas on The Weekends and a free bag of popcorn. Ashley is amazing waitress, ask for her when being seated. They have outdoor seating which is nice in the cooler months.
Food tasted good. Timing issues from kitchen. Mashed potatoes were cold. Chicken schnitzel piping hot. Fried green tomatoes app cold. Beef was super tough in the pot roast. Everything else delicious. Would recommend and give another try. Sausage board super great. Beef sausage had best flavor.
we sat outside and there was palm tree fruits and bits falling and hitting us and huge flies everywhere as soon as the food came out. and they couldn’t move us inside considering it was busy. Outdoor seating should have cover like the other surrounding restaurants with outdoor seating. I probably will have a bruise tomorrow on my back. steak came out overcooked (close to a well done with pink instead of medium) our new steak we asked for medium rare but in all honesty, it was the steak itself not the temperature or they just overcooked it again, should’ve asked for blue rare the second time. the steak also had no flavor. the potato’s seemed like instant potatoes, so it was good. for $41 is crazy. Appetizers came out good and everything else. Our server was great 10/10. I wish they compensated a little, left hungry and super unsatisfied. just stay inside :(
Beautiful restaurant that's warm and inviting upon entry. Hosts greeted us immediately and got us seated at a very comfortable booth. Our server greeted us promptly and was prepared with recommendations as it was our first time there and the menu had quite a bit to look over from allocated whiskeys to craft cocktails and a great selection of beer & wine. The drinks were noticeably flavorful which was a welcome change from the over diluted & over-imagined craft cocktails in a lot of restaurants. This theme seemed to match the vision for the food - flavorful, fresh, and a unique take on a classic without overindulging on elevated or foreign ingredients. It was really hard to choose what to order to be honest and I'm looking forward to my next visit already! What we ordered: The fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crispy batter and smothered with a delicious and creamy pimento cheese, all of this tired together with smoky bacon and a sweet, vinegary tomato jam on top - chef's kiss. Pretzels with Cheese Fondue - The fondue looked so good and I couldn't resist. This is a unique cheese with pickled mustard seeds - it adds a bit of tang but the creamy cheese and the thick, salty pretzel were the perfect compliment Chicken Jager Schnitzel - probably the best thing on the table as far as an actual entree, not the biggest fan of the sides. The chicken was huge and just lightly pounded so the breast was still thick but super juicy. On top is a rich, delicious brown gravy loaded with mushrooms. It's served over mashed potatoes which are okay, not amazing but the chicken had so much flavor I don't know if the potatoes needed to be any more intricate Pot Roast - this is what I came for and did not disappoint. It's a classic pot roast with a ton of meat, a large portion. Again not thrilled with the potatoes and in this dish it was a bit more noticeable. Overall the flavor was fantastic and the meat was so tender and fell apart, exactly what you would want out of a hearty pot roast Simply, this is just delicious, familiar food. It's been a long time since I had such a nice experience in a restaurant. You could see the management was engaged and the staff was truly excellent. Thank you for an awesome first experience, looking forward to my next one!
