This place is great! We needed a place that was family-friendly on a Friday night with good food, and they hit it on the mark. The decor is light and relaxing, and the food was unbelievably good, authentic German, which I had never had. Their award winning fries, which are an option with almost every meal, are out of this world! Everyone was outgoing, friendly, and helpful, and it was overall an outstanding experience. First time here and had the Bratwurst with sauerkraut. Day after Hurricane Milton hit so that was the only thing to order and both times were really good. Can't wait to try other items on the in the future.
A little gem, quality genuine German food. Not Americanized. And not overpriced like most of downtown. Very friendly and great environment.
The German man who took our order was very kind and our food was made fresh. My boyfriend had the bratwurst and I had the vegan bratwurst. The mushroom sauce is on point! The potato salad was really yummy too. They also have beer! They were the only place open after the hurricane and we’d never had German food before. It was a great experience and we plan to come back :) Large dessert selection as well! Our food was about $18 a plate but well worth it.
2024 Same amazing all round. It's one of those places you often remember and wish it was closer to home. 2021 Fantastic food and service. The only thing I could possibly criticize is the portions are a little weird. Way too much meat, not enough side. The fries are otherworldly. The German beers are the cleanest I've ever tasted. Our server was wonderful. Prices reasonable. Inside and outside seating. 100% will be back
